• 9/6/25The best soul food option in Kansas City on Door Dash. Everything is always consistent , hot and fresh. The Fried Chicken Wing Pack is my favorite. The catfish hits everything is seasoned and large portions. Great value

• 8/5/25Incredible! Everything was incredible… The chicken was perfectly seasoned and crispy and very big… The mashed potatoes and gravy were perfectly seasoned. The macaroni and cheese was killer and even had a little piece of crusty cheese top layer… The hot sauce is great…not crazy hot but bit good vinegar flavor. But the low-key star of the show was the bread roll that wasn't even listed in the description… So airy and perfectly fresh baked and just slightly sweet. The carrot cake was on point with a really nice frosting. At first glance of the order, I was a little irritated because I ordered dark meat and received white meat…but it was so juicy, I can't even be mad at them. Highly recommend and will definitely be re-ordering!

• 6/2/26The Homemade Meatloaf is so flavorful and juicy! I had the mashed potatoes and corn as side and they were fresh and delicious as well. There was enough for two separate meals for me. I would definitely order this meal again. A little bit of southern comfort food when I'm traveling away from home!

• 8/31/25My only gripe is the food wasnt as hot as I would have liked & the place was just 2 miles from my hotel. They did put my soda on top of the container, so maybe that was why. The Fried Chic Wing Packken, Mac n cheese & green beans were SOOO good. It really hit the spot. Like a Black granny would make. Highly recommended!
