Food was so amazing!! It was very flavorful and very big portions for the price. I had the Pick Two and it was way too much food for one meal, so Iate the Arepa and saved the bowl for the next day. The plantains were cooked to perfection and my husband had the build your own arepa meal with the shredded beef and he loved it. Everything was packaged very well, food was still hot when it arrived and everything was delicious!

Did not see or taste ANY grilled chicken (addit'l cost), brown rice (got white rice) or plantains but what I did get was delicious. The custard cup was very tiny for $2.70 but very rich and delicious. The Arepa was interesting. Tasted ok. If I order again I'll try a different combination.

Our absolute favorite, you can never go wrong with any of your choices. The flavors are outstanding, from the tangy gusaca to the rich and flavorful meats, you can bank on a very tasty meal.

wow wow wow. ggood food. Great flavor... i am literally blown away. the Build Your Own Arepa was great with fajita chicken plantain, corn cheese lettuce top notch. the shredded beef is bbeyond fflavorful Pick Two was perfect fo wanting everything. Iced Tea just right.Garlic Sauce 4oz 10/10 sauce on everything.

I lived in Raleigh when Guasaca first opened and people would stand in long lines to order it. It was worth it, because the flavors were bold and fresh and the value was outstanding. I'd even take people there when visitors came from out of town. Unfortunately, something has changed. I looked the place up to see if VC had purchased the business because the current food is so underwhelming compared to what they previously offered. This now tastes like Chipotle, which is fine, but just that. If you want a relatively healthy and cheap option and you never had the original, then you may think this is good. It's just sad to know how outstanding it once was and how it's changed.
