• 6/10/25There's a young lady with glasses and I believe her mother who also has glasses that I believe runs the place. They are SO personable and make you feel like family. Their food is always consistent and perfectly cooked/seasoned. When I place pick up it is always on time. The portion size of the BBQ plate (my go-to) is perfect, I love the variety of sides. I've never picked up my order cold, or even warm, it's always hot and fresh. This place has become a regular place of mine, it's become comfort food. And such a fun place to hang out. The indoor and outdoor are both beautiful and always well kept. <3

• 4/6/25SHACK SAMPLER PLATE is probably the best deal you can get right now in Raleigh. All my food was fresh and nothing was wrong with my items. It was all fresh and tasty. You get a good amount of food with all the different sides. Will order again! (pork BBQ was under the ribs in photo)

• 6/25/26Ribs were hard, old and not tasty. Bread burnt. customer service really horrible, they kept passing the phone and not wanting to speak.

• 8/12/26PEACH COBBLER peach cobbler was not that good. It was kind of pasty, no juice, not sweet, just a little makeup to it would make it better, not too gummy, just a little juice. Thank you, have a great dayFRIED OKRA fine oak grass that I ordered separately did not taste good as the one in the train. I don't know what's going on there.

• 9/2/26PEACH COBBLER tastes like flavorless microwaved canned peaches. It was mushy like baby food. Absolutely disgusting! BAKED BEANS have to be canned. Will never order from this establishment again. I should have listened to the reviews, but I wanted to judge for myself. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere!
