We did take out, but I have to say the presentation did not disappoint! The flavors were amazing so delicious, seasoned well and filled us both up! We had the wagyu beef/Shrimp tempura roll, deep fried shrimp with spiced mayo, shrimp tempura app, and potstickers! 10 out of 10!

Yaki udon chicken was amazing. Chewy noodles, Perfectly cooked and seasoned chicken. The chirashi was fresh and beautifully plated...Complete with fresh spirals of beets. We also had some maki and the Tokyo Tonkotsu Ramen. The ramen is our new favorite in town. What a lovely takeout experience. Cant wait til next time!

I LOVE Akita! The food is consistently delicious. The employees are friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable.
The Hibachi chicken and steak are tasty, with the perfect balance of protein and vegetables.

We ordered 2 bowls of very basic ramen meaning there was minimal "extras"... 1/2 boiled egg, 2 thin slices of pork, maybe a traspoon of woodear and nothing else substantial enough to mention. It came in a to go container inside of another container. Maybe to give the immediate appearance of being a larger portion. Additionally we ordered a basic roll of tuna and cucumber which was 6 pieces of rice, tuna and cucumber with some shaved ginger and a smidge of fake wasabi paste. We also ordered a 6 piece pork gyozo and salted edamame. With tax the bill was $65. For 2 people, a very basic ramen meal, $65 before tip. It arrived cold and smaller than expected. The taste was very good, but that being said, how do young people afford going on dates these days when a very basic ramen meal is closer to $100 than $50 with tax and tip? I do love good ramen and often make it at home with higher welfare ramen noodles and ingredients from the local Asian market. In my opinion, this place is charging too much for the quantity and quality of their product. I would recommend based on taste, but definitely not on price. It's not a Michelin steak house. It's ramen.

Just didn't seem worth the money and didn't taste very fresh. I've had Akita before and it was good. This time just lacked badly and the yellowtail had skin on it which never seen on a raw yellowtail. Then the sushi was just average and didn't taste fresh. I would not order again.
