Last time the fish and Catfish & Shrimp Basket was good and fresh. I was disappointed this time. It tasted like it was cooked in old grease. The food was also a little salty. Not fresh at all, so disappointed. Small portion of fries too that were cooked in old grease.

catfish was seasoned perfectly👌 and the crab boil delicious definitely ordering again and again. new favorite place. I'd post a picture but I devoured it as soon as I opened it. 10/10

By far the worst seafood I have ever had in my life — and somehow the customer service made the experience even worse.
I ordered through DoorDash and got 1 lb of crawfish and the two-crab-cluster deal. The entire meal was completely inedible. The crab and crawfish had the texture of PLASTIC, absolutely no flavor, and on top of that, the crawfish smelled rancid. I have been eating crawfish my entire life and I have NEVER smelled crawfish like this before. The smell alone was enough to make me uncomfortable eating any more of it.
I called the restaurant hoping they would at least acknowledge that something was clearly wrong with the food. Instead, I was basically told that everything “looked right on their end,” the cook times were correct, and it was prepared up to their standards.
If THIS is up to your standards, that is honestly more concerning than if you had just admitted something went wrong.
Their solution was to tell me that IF I decided to order from them again, they would give me the same meal for free. Why would I want the exact meal I’m currently throwing in the trash AGAIN? And why would I drive out of my way to pick up a replacement from a restaurant I have absolutely no desire to eat at again after this experience?
The appropriate response would have been to refund the meal that was completely inedible. Instead, I’m expected to throw away an entire plate of seafood — literally throwing away the money I spent — while their idea of “making it right” requires me to give them another chance and make a trip to the restaurant.
I don’t leave reviews like this lightly, but seafood smelling rancid, having the texture of plastic, and having zero flavor is unacceptable. Dismissing the complaint because your cook times were technically “correct” and then offering another plate of the same food instead of refunding the meal I couldn’t eat is ridiculous.
I paid for dinner. I received something I couldn’t eat. I shouldn’t have to spend more time, gas, or effort to get compensated for food that ended up going straight into the trash.

I was originally going to order Krab Kingz, butwas turned off by reviews. Thought I'd give this place a try and so glad I did! Everything was so good, not many notes at all. The portiin was perfect for myself and my pro strongman husband. Everything was clearly fresh. Will definitely order again. Oh, and the hishpuppies are delicious!
