Aldo’s Coffee Company
Bold coffee. Handcrafted biscotti. Timeless taste.
Step into the heart of Greenport without leaving home. Since 1987, Aldo’s has been serving rich, dark-roasted coffee and small-…
Absolutely incredible coffee. You can tell immediately that the beans are freshly roasted. The aroma when you open the bag is amazing and the flavor is bold, smooth, and incredibly rich without any bitterness. This is easily some of the best coffee I have had in a long time.
The biscotti are just as impressive. Perfectly baked, crunchy but not too hard, and they pair beautifully with the coffee. You can really taste the quality ingredients.
Aldo’s clearly takes freshness and craftsmanship seriously. If you love great coffee and authentic biscotti, this place is a must order. I will definitely be ordering again.

The food felt careless and uninspired, like no one in the kitchen actually tasted it before it went out. The croissant and bear claw were shockingly bad. Dry, flavorless, and unmistakably like something bought in bulk from an IGA. It's shocking to pay so much for something so bad.

Latte was so bitter it was undrinkable — tasted burnt. Scone was bone dry and rock hard. Pain au chocolat was atrocious: greasy, limp, and off-tasting. Couldn't eat any of it. I'm not sure what happened to them. I used to love Aldo's.

Their "hot" coffees came cold. The ham and Ham & Cheese Croissant e croissant was so minuscule and tasted horrible. I threw it away after a few bites. It shouldn’t be called a croissant at all - it tasted like something pulled from a low-end grocery store. My daughter ordered a Matcha Latte , which tasted absolutely horrible. It was poorly prepared, clumpy, and bitter. They clearly don’t know how to make it. The only thing that was ok was the Hot Chocolate, but the size is minuscule for the price. I don't think they make anything in-house aside from the coffee. Just seems very uninspired. I typically go to North Fork Roasting Co. in Southold, and the quality there is a million times better.

The worst matcha I’ve ever had. The chocolate inside the croissant tastes chemical and fake. I do like their strawberry lemonade in the summer, and the strudel was good, but everything else was just awful.
