expensive, but delicious. a good treat for a special occasion. they're also huge, so when you calculate price and size it's probably reasonable. the horchata donuts were very nostalgic and reminded me of going to lubys with my grandparents - if you know, you know.

the Boston Cream did not have the same layer of icing it usually does. it was thinner and didn't have the same bite to it. the filling for this one also tasted worse than usual. old maybe? the donuts are good but not worth the price.
the BBQ Pork Rib Kolache was way over priced for portion size. it was tasty. but overall the quality seems to have gone down and prices up. also $17 for a breakfast croissant is crazy.
I have been ordering from here occasionally gor over a year as a guilty pleasure but the cost is crazy. probably will look for more affordable alternatives. Peach Cobbler was good. it almost didn't need the icing though just the whip and peach filling were on point.

Brown Butter & Salt is delicious, cakey and just the right amount of salt to make the donut pop. It's a rather large donut! The Cinnamon Cereal Milk Latte is delicious as well. It's pretty decadent but delicious.

Terry Blacks BBQ Brisket & Cheddar Kolachecold, stale, so hollow. Mocha Latte is only filled 2/3 of the cup. coffee itself is acidic and burnt, with coffee grounds in the cup. it relies heavily on the chocolate to make it palatable. will skip this one next time. there is no love here.

Everything I got from The Salty Donut slapped—but let’s be real, a few bites stole the show like a drunk uncle at a wedding.
Let’s start savory. The Everything 'Cragel' with Jalapeño Cream Cheese? Game over. It’s not just good—it’s "make-you-reconsider-life-choices" good. Easily crushed the Terry Blacks BBQ Brisket & Cheddar Kolache in a head-to-head battle. I mean, no disrespect to brisket, but the Everything 'Cragel' came to win trophies.
Now to the donuts: most were great, but two hit different. The Mixed Berry Cheesecake was a classy, fruit-forward diva—sweet, rich, and unapologetically indulgent. But the real MVP? The Brown Butter & Salt, I didn’t see that one coming. One bite in and I was emotionally unavailable for all other donuts. It’s salty, sweet, and somehow spiritual.
Would I go back? Absolutely. Would I order embarrassing amounts of Cragel? Already did.🙈
