I must say for the first time ever trying this place we were very impressed! Everything was hot and delicious. I had the salmon which was cooked perfectly with a garlic butter caper sauce. I got the mac n cheese and collard greens for sides both were super flavorful. My husband got the chicken fried chicken with brussel sprouts and mac. He loved how lightly breaded the chicken was and juicy on the inside. The gravy had the perfect seasoning. So glad we got the jalapeno muffins. They were not spicy at all and had honey to dip them in. This is comfort food. We both “mmm mmm mmm’d” the whole time we devoured our plates. Our belly’s are warm and full, such great prices for fresh home cooked upscale food. Definitely recommend!

Ordered 501 for the first time and it was good and not so good. Our food did come to our door fresh and hot, which is well appreciated. My wife ordered Cajun Pasta Alfredo with Chicken + Shrimp and she liked the flavor, especially the shrimp and chicken, but felt the portion was small. I ordered the Fried Catfish with fries and coleslaw. The catfish was good but lacked seasoning and the fries were little under cooked. Fortunately I had some tatar sauce and ketchup at home since this was not provided. My second side was cole slaw and the container was not even half full. The taste of the coleslaw was decent but definitely would have liked a little more. The Jalapeño Muffins were delicious and there was more than enough for us to share. I've been wanting to order from 501 for sometime especially because I do want to support local restaurants and it appears to be well rated. Maybe this was an off night.

For $17, these portions are kind of small. Tartar sauce should have been an option when ordering catfish. The catfish is good but the breading is extremely salty (.. and I like salt)

1st they need to find a better way to secure the food! Anyone can open the box and tamper with the food. The greens were to salty, the rice was hard. Salmon was the best item honestly.

I could tell the Greens were canned which isn't a problem. They had zero flavor.
