Wow Wow Wow! So much to compliment ... first off ff I called the restaurant after placing my order as it was a large one and I asked if someone there could graciously check to make sure everything was correct before delivering. I was overwhelmed with -despite them being very busy (Sat eve) Erika's (the GM) absolutely gracious and amenable response that she was happy to do that for me. She is top notch and bc of her I am looking forward to going in person to eat there and meet her personally.
I shared w her that we almost use DD every other day and more often than not so many restaurants leave something out etc. She assured me she had my back- and bag lol- and I knew she meant it. She even called me back to let me know the driver was on his way to me with the feast! WHAT A GEM. She went above and beyond.
And the FOOD!!!! Holy moly it was outstanding! Perfect mix of flavor, generous servings, beautifully crafted as in the ingredients and even presentation even being delivered. Absolutely delicious and we ordered the lasagna, pasta bolognese, C salad, polenta , fried ravioli, raspberry creme cake,

The rigatoni was sooooooo good. Pasta was perfectly al dente and the bolognese was really flavorful. Also the Tiramisu was some of the best I've had.

Incredibly disappointed about the $15 caeser salad. I wouldn't even charge $5 for that. Also the protein add on, you only get one meatball.

The portion size for the value do not match. The container was 1/2 full and I had to request a credit from door dash because I received a side salad but paid for a full size salad.

Disappointed. We've ordered from and been happy with Va Bene before. Today, the Rigatoni was greasy and generally lacking in flavor. The Pesto Mafaldine was only marginally better.
