• 1/2/25Platanos were unexpectedly but not unpleasantly sweet; take care, as the black bean juice tends to leak through the paper box. The real winner was the (lamb) Barbacoa burrito, with the rich lamb cut by the fresh acidity of pickled onion. An outstanding burrito in an area with great mexican food.

• 10/7/25I've had many great food experiences with Taqueria Talavera, but today was just pure disappointment. The biggest of which is their Chile Relleno Burrito which basically was an $18 rice burrito, little beans and a small little chile. Not worth the price.

• 4/22/24The Pozole is so delicious. The portion is very generous. Both plates are one serving! First time trying their Tacos De Plaza, chef's kiss! We got the Al Pastor and Carnitas.

• 1/11/26Did NOT like the carnitas tacos at all! Carnitas should be fried, not boiled!.. no added flavor to tacos, like pico de gallo, or onion or even cilantro just chunks of lettuce. Not enough salsa( got one red/two green. Very dissatisfying.
