• 5/20/24Ordered the kahuna size but the bowl was essentially less than half full, the rice was undercooked and still pretty hard as well. The portion sizes for the protein were very small too, although it was fresh . Disappointing because Aloha used to be my favorite poke place, the other locations (on Madison) fill their bowls to the brim. Here you would have to eat 2 Kahunas to be full.

• 5/23/26Got a BYO and there were lots of toppings and sauce, super tasty. This is definitely a more Americanized poke restaurant with the food being a bit heavier if that's what you like. Saw other reviews mentioning hard rice and I got a few clumps of white rice that were hard and dry. Disappointing since there isn't much rice that comes in the bowl to begin with. I did order extra protein and avocado, I was given a good amount of protein (maybe not "extra" worthy) and a very small wedge of avocado (maybe 1/6 of a whole avocado). Tasty and would order again, but you definitely need to add extras to get a good portion size.

• 3/19/24Never had this happen before at aloha but it seems like the ratio of rice to protein is minimal (imitation crab was add $1.25 but amount was fine. The bowl was mainly rice which was disappointing.

• 2/15/24The rice in my poke bowl was hard. It tasted like it had been sitting out for a while and they used the solid overcooked rice. The fish was okay, but for the price the size of the bowl wasn't really worth it to me. I have had poke bowls 10x better than this.
