Took my mom to get lunch here. We loved the Fried Pork / Griot . It had a lot of flavor and the service was great, everyone was so nice. Definitely recommend.

The griot is good but dry. The legume was not good and the smallest portion with no meat. Quite disappointing.

So sad I always order from here and they have lost me. Akra was burnt and soggy and also tasted like it was fried in the same oil as fish.. Was looking forward to the Akra too.. Also Got all fat for the griot and also the wrong rice... :(

I usually don’t leave reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I felt I had to.
I live only about 10 minutes away, so I was surprised that the food was already cold when I got home. I started eating the legume first, and it was completely cold while the rice was only mildly warm. I ended up having to reheat the entire meal.
To make matters worse, we specifically requested rice and beans but received black rice instead. I’m not sure what the point of offering different rice options is if the order isn’t prepared as requested.
We also ordered the stew turkey, but there wasn’t any stew sauce on the plate at all. The turkey ended up being dry because there was nothing to go with it.
Unfortunately, the food itself wasn’t much better. The rice was clumpy, and the legume lacked flavor.
What’s frustrating is that this wasn’t our first visit. The first time we ordered from Island Signature, the food was amazing, which is why we came back. I honestly didn’t expect the quality to drop this much on our second visit.
I really hope this was just an off day because I know they’re capable of much better.
