I went back to Jersey for a month! I forgot about this place. OMG THE FOOD, ALL OF IT!!!!!! I got the Fried Fish with dressing (Sunday only) with green beans and Collards JESUS! It taste just like Sunday dinner

Tenderism ! Never too salty only place I know you can get a 2 Turkey wing plate for under $20. I can tell the sides are made with love fresh cheese in the mac, high-quality cinnamon in the yams. Any time im free I will order Aprils.

The chicken (thigh and wing) was small, overcooked, and dry which is not the norm. I was very disappointed today. Additionally, the yams were very mushy and not formed, simply just mush and the mac & cheese was a bit runny. We order from here all the time and 99% of the time it is fine but today was a total miss!

The food was SO good I forgot to take a picture! Fried chicken, yams, mac & cheese was some of the best tasing southern food I've had and I am very particular and don't like a lot. The Collard greens were seasoned to perfection. Great food for a great price. Other places would've been twice the amount for what we received. The cornbread muffin was good too... not too sweet, just the way I like it! I can tell you cook with love and we appreciate that and enjoyed our dinner!!!
