Seattle's Best Indian Cuisine
Chutney's Bistro is a fantastic Indian eatery. The atmosphere is lovely, with polite personnel and an owner who is giving and helpful. Their chicken tikka masala and chic…
My go to place when I need comforting food. This was the first time I tried the eggplant dish and it was fantastic; smoky and great with the naan. The Malai Kofta is my favorite and this place has the best version in Seattle.

One of the worst Indian foods I had. The Shahjehani (Chicken) Biryani was bland tasteless boiled rice at best. A Chipotle burrito bowl tastes way better than this "so called" biryani. Vegetable Pakoras were half cooked with some of them literally having a flowing consistency inside. Wasted my money for sure. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COST.

The pakoras were heavily breaded and overcooked, the biryani tasted nothing like a biryani it felt like a too spicy pulao rice, and this is coming from an indian. The portion size I feel was a little small for the price but not too small.

Organic Chicken Korma was severely overcooked to the point of dehydration. Passion Cheesecake had no passionfruit topping; just plain, stale cheesecake. Portions were okay, but would not order this again.

The Shahjehani (Chicken) Biryani here was garbage. It's not even the correct type of rice, and the consistency of it was more like a khichdi rather than biryani. It tasted soggy, not like a cooked, steamed, fresh soft, but a sitting-in-tomato-sauce-like-it's-spaghetti type of soft. Don't.
The Malai Kofta here was distatseful too, and this is one of my most favorite dishes.
If you want to try this restaurant, go to the one in Bellevue. Unless the shop just stole the name of the one in Bellevue and is a completely different shop.
