As a shut-in largely relying on delivered food I have been sampling a lot of local restaurants. A lot of them are disappointing: despite the photos provided with their menus, their portions are meager (and therefore way overpriced) and their food is uninteresting. Here is one that bucks the trend. While n authentic Philly fare, this place offers good food in generous helpings (so much so that one order provides two meals). I've put it on my go-to list.

Super delicious cheesesteak. My mushroom cheesesteak had added grilled onions and they sent horseradish! One of my all time favorites. the Hanks was perfect washing it down. Highly recommended!

I have always been very satisfied with Philly's Best but this time not so much, this time my sandwich had lots of onions and mushrooms I did request extra mushrooms but my sandwich had very little meat compared to the past and more onions and mushrooms then meat. Not happy this time.

I had previously avoided this place because the food did not look like anything special. However, today I wanted a Pastrami and didn't feel like driving to the Hat so I decided to give this place a try. I am so disappointed in my decision. The Pastrami was flavorless and bland. The sand was skinny so you could tell they skimped on the meat. You had to actually open the bread to see the meat. There were no hot peppers or pickles on the side like you receive from most restaurants. The French fries were cool not cold but they were not fresh. In the future it's a NO for me. I'll try another sandwich shop. This was just AWFUL. I won't eat here again.
