• 6/16/23The Spicy Tuna Roll was really good! Loved and enjoyed it. The Miso Soup was perfect and deliciously prepared. The contents of my food were packed with care! Would definitely order again!

• 2/16/25The Soft Shell Crab was so amazing I couldn't even get a picture until the last bite. Whatever they use to bread it is the best I've ever had and the flavor was super fresh. I loved the dipping sauce. I DoorDashed my order on a snowy night so none of my food was warm and I can even imagine how good the Soft Shell Crab and Crab Rangoon would have been in the restaurant. Yum. Their fish is clearly top notch and I wish I had gotten a poke bowl. Their sushi rice is perfect. I lived in Hawaii and San Francisco with superb Japanese food so I know this place is a winner. My criticism is with their tempura. Regardless of my long wait and not warm food (thats not their fault I knew what I was doing ordering DD in the snow) the True Love Special Roll was a big disappointment. The lobster had no flavor although texture was fine and the tempura tasted like dirty oil. The Hot Hot Special Roll had nice jalepeno and heat but the tempura taste ruined it (again the sushi rice was phenomenal). Naruto Roll was ok but watery and flavorless. The lobster salad drew me in but was flavorless. I wished I had stayed away from rolls and went with fresh fish and other dishes because I have a feeling this is where they shine. The oysters were fresh but they weren't very tasty and I disliked the sauce. Even without the sauce I did not feel they were great but hey Blue Point Oyster that is fresh is always a treat. All in all I can tell this place is top notch but maybe try to branch out from the tempura and the lobster and go with sashimi and poke bowls and other stuff. If you like Soft Shell Crab this is my recommendation.

I highly recommend their sushi taco — it’s super crispy, the shrimp inside is perfectly chewy, and the refreshing shredded cucumber adds a nice balance. The sauce makes the whole taco even smoother and more flavorful.

• 6/16/25Vegetable Yaki Udon had slimy pieces in it, no flavor
