Dewars is one the iconic business that have been able to stand the test of time. Many have folded up or no longer in business. I was surprised when I found out Dewars offered Sugar Free candies and low carb. I can't have sugar. This prevents me from enjoying sweet items I enjoy. Dewars give you big portions, the sugar free taffy does not taste like most sugar free products. No after taste or chemical taste, the product is always fresh. The only problem I have with Dewars is not being able to stop eating. If I allow myself 4 taffy candies I find myself eating 8. The little taffy chews or are habit forming. I definitely recommend Dewars Sugar Free or on Sugar Free candies. They also make great gifts. The packaging is excellent and looks like a gift. You don't have to wrap.
Regarding Sugar Free - Most or I should I say all of Bakersfield business I've patronize do not have sugar free items. I like Nothing Bundt cake. You would think they would at least offer a sugar free cake.
