Crogan's is the perfection of culinary delight if you crave comfort food on a winters day or eve. You can eat their clam chowder with a fork. The Coleslaw is lightly dressed rather than drowning in sauce and some wizard in the kitchen understands the proper soaking of a roast beef au jus sandwich. 20 stars....

I've ordered from Crogan's a few times recently. Overall it was a great value. I was totally enthralled with the charbroiled salmon w/quinoa and green beans and would definitely order it again.
I wasn't too impressed with the steak salad or crab cakes, though. While I requested my steak medium rare, there wasn't even a hint of pink. And the crab cakes were bland and more filler than crabmeat. I was disappointed 😞
I'll stick with the charbroiled salmon, though, because it was utterly delicious!

Portion size of the Braised Short Rib meal was huge for the price. 2 sides spinach and potatoes. The taste for was a 10/10. The spinach was a bit bland but paired well with the beef and potatoes! The restaurant even added 2 complimentary cookies. Can't wait to order again ! Also, the crab cakes tastes

Shepherd's Pie was huge and worth the cost; I prefer more potatoes and a bit less salty but was tasty. Potato Skins were good. Wasn't a fan of the French Dip, which was bland and overcooked; prefer beef more on the medium rare side; dipping sauce was also bland.

Everthing here is great quality and delicious. I've ordered many times now, and the consistency is impressive. My favorite is the Clam Chowder - best that I've ever had in the East Bay - and the french dip, salads, and desserts are also amazing. Shout out to the complimentry chocolate chip cookies!!
