Finnigan’s is a fantastic Irish pub in downtown Winston-Salem! I ordered the Fish and Chips, Guinness-battered cod with steak fries, served with a lemon caper aioli, and it was absolutely outstanding. The cod was perfectly cooked with a light, crispy batter that was full of flavor, and the steak fries were hot, crispy, and seasoned just right. The lemon caper aioli was the perfect complement and really took the dish to the next level.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food tasted fresh and made with care. If you’re looking for authentic Irish pub fare or just an excellent meal, I highly recommend Finnigan’s. I’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu!

the Shepherd's Pie is sooooo good! It was exactly what I wanted and it's a good amount of food (the little container is heavy and has a deeper bottom)
the Artichoke and Spinach Dip itself is very good as well, but the chips were a little shiny greasy and stale

The side salad was very good, lots of cheese and other veggies besides lettuce. But it ended there. The Mac and Cheese was good but not remarkable and rather than a dinner portion (which I ordered) I received a small side item portion. The Chili was bland, gummy and thick and just pretty much inedible, not at all like the incredibly delicious one of years past with the potatoes and onions and carrots in it. Just bland and boring. Altogether a regret!!
