10/10 this is the best breakfast I ate in richmond in the last 5 years the Biscuit are fresh and soft the egg was cooked well and everything well seasoned

I want to start off with the disappointments because there isn’t much to point out. The Biscuit was kind of sweet, it made it taste like a scone. Not bad but not what I was expecting. And I was missing my Buttermilk Gravy ! Which, given the taste of the biscuit, didn’t matter too much. I would have ended up just using honey anyway. Now.. for the highlights. The Grits and Eggs were actually seasoned! I know some restaurants like to dilute seasonings to accommodate everyone but they said no salt and pepper packets required! And the Fried Chicken Breast WHEW! I can’t even get my chicken that crispy. And the flavor was on point. And even with ordering everything a la carte the price point was great! Definitely a place to visit again.
*Also to note, the OJ is slightly pulpy. Not a dealbreaker for me but I know it isn’t everyone’s preference

Food very underwhelming! Shrimp and grits had black beans which were yin the description. I didn't get my eggs, grits cup half full which is crazy considering price and up charge. However I didn't like the taste anyway. Not sure what cheese was used but it wasn't cheddar. Not good at all. Biscuit too salty and crumbly. First and last time ordering here. Disappointed for the amount of money spent.

Pancake is delicious, lemon butter is great...the chicken is flavorful & crispy...just alittle too salty to me. I would order again.

The Dirty Chai was supposed to be iced, but it came hot. Everything is particularly salty and the Grits were undercooked. The biscuit on its own was good, but altogether with other ingredients it's a bit too much on The Carolina Cristo .
