• 9/11/22The classic lime margarita is the best! And they add the sliced limes and salt. The nachos for 4 is solid. Great variety of toppings. Plenty of chips!

• 8/29/24This review is only for the Fair Oaks location. I've been going to Uncle Julio's for 20+ years at nearly all of the locations in the DMV area. The food is consistently subpar relative to other locations and is easily the worst by far. The soft tacos always come soaked, the portions for sides are smaller than what the other stores offer, and the meat is often overcooked.
I've ordered from this location 5+ times across the last year hoping things would change. Unfortunately, it's only gotten worse each time. Really disappointing especially considering it's my favorite TexMex chain. Don't bother with this location. Hope they make changes in the kitchen.

• 7/13/23I'd rather rank this 4 1/2 stars, and even then, the subtracted half star isn't so much Uncle Julio's fault as that I only want Mexican rarely. I'm from Houston, so I KNOW Tex-Mex! And Julio's is good indeed. Solid, fresh, and from scratch. Love the combination enchiladas, and Iadded two bacon-wrapped shrimp just to try them, and they were DELICIOUS! I'm getting more of those next time!

• 10/11/26We ordered the family fajita meal for four. It could have easily fed six people. Everything was hot and delicious. I would definitely order the same from Uncle Julio's.
