This was likely the best and HOT meal I have had in awhile from a restaurant. I had to wait three different attempts to eat it because it was piping hot! The delivery came fast and the veggies, bread, and mac n cheese were all great! The chicken fried steak and gravy was beyond words. Perko's is always a favorite of mine. Always good.

River City Ribeye - a Ribeye steak that is cooked to perfection and one of my favorites; their handcrafted shakes are thick and delicious from REAL ice cream, and plenty of it. But the greatest food secret in the San Joaquin Valley is their Fajitas! Plenty of meat (your choice, or combo) and fresh vegetables, and always enough to take some home or wish you had! I have been going here since the owner was a young waitress, and the family and other employees all make you feel at home with wonderful, cheerful service. There are other good spots in this city, but this particular Madera Perko's is my go-to place to eat.

Placed an order with them through DoorDash. Food arrived in bag tied in a knot. When I opened the container that had the Eggs Benedict, there were only a few fragments of egg whites scattered around. As stated, the bags arrived tied in a knot, so the only place something could have happened was at the restaurant. So I called Perkos and spoke with a manager and explained what I received, and even told her that I was calling just to inform, not looking to get anything else out of the call. Manager was adamant that it did not happen in restaurant, it happened during the delivery. Again I reiterated that the bag was tied and no spills in the bag, at which time the manager responded ok, and then hung up on me. I usually love Perkos, but they failed completely here. It's just a shame.
