Unfortunately, my recent experience at Yogis on Chandler & Kyrene was deeply disappointing. The service was poor, and the quality of the food was significantly below par.
I ordered a large rice bowl with spicy chicken. The rice was unacceptably dry and hard, and the chicken was overcooked & fatty. While I understand that everyone has different preferences, I felt it was important to politely share my constructive feedback with the manager/owner (who I believe was the elderly woman I spoke with).
To my surprise, she dismissed my concerns, stating that the rice was "supposed to be" that way. This response was dismissive and lacked any understanding of customer feedback.
Given the consistently high quality of food at the Yogis in Scottsdale location on Shea, this experience in Chandler was particularly disappointing. I will not be returning to this location in the future.

I ordered the Chicken Yakisoba with veggies and Yakisoba sauce served with Teriyaki Chicken and Rice. I also ordered an Aloha Strawberry Guava drink. With tip, right at $25.78. Ordered through DoorDash. My Dasher is Adrian. The order arrived very quickly and hot but unfortunately the chicken was way overcooked and I had multiple pieces of gristle in it. I was unable to eat the chicken. The rice was good, the noodles were very good. Unfortunately the broccoli was obviously dried out. This is not the standard that I'm used to at Yogi's.

I love this place.
I DoorDash the chicken teriyaki bowl 2-4 times weekly. And I always rate them 5 stars because the teriyaki chicken bowl with white meat is delicious. Sure, I overlook some blips once in awhile.
I understand that it can't be perfect every time.
I live 3 minutes from their location. The food is always delivered hot or warm. Today, it was DoorDash delivered in record time. Why? The Chicken Teriyaki Bowl that I paid extra for white meat was delivered cold, charred, without teriyaki sauce, and hard. It was not edible.
My $21 Chicken Teriyaki Bowl with white meat was eaten by my dog, who enjoyed it
I didn't appreciate being served cold, dry, charred food. Nor did I appreciate paying extra for white meat that was not edible. I could overlook this, but it was too much. Someone put cold, charred chicken over a bowl of rice without teriyaki sauce. If they didn't realize they were giving me cold, burnt food, I hope management will consider some sort of quality control.

Enjoyed fresh 2 Egg Rolls and both entrees were on point. Yummy Beef Udon and Chicken Butter Garlic Noodles!

Las Vegas Roll was AMAZING and the Chicken Teriyaki Bowl was GREAT! Maybe a little over priced but worth it.
