Though it had been a while since we have order from Vans due to the disappointing customer service we were provded on several occasions we decided to give them another try because, frankly, they one of the few Italian restaurants around that has great tasting food.
​Our return began with a necessary phone call to modify the DoorDash order. The manager personally ensured my order was prepared exactly to my liking, and the quality of my roastbeef sub was beyond expectation. The service was just as impressive a few days later when I called again for a dinner order made through Doordash due to my wife still being in the hospital. The person who answered the phone was not only attentive to my modifications but also incredibly friendly and genuinely helpful.  It appears the management and staff at Vans has stepped up their game making where this establishment does only provide great food that will satisfy your taste buds, but makes you feel as if they appreciate your business.

The only saving grace to my order, and the reason that I gave the restaurant 2 stars instead of 1, was the Spanakopita (6 Pieces). It honestly came off as if it were bought in the frozen aisle of a grocery store, but I'll give props to the finished product. The Cannoli wasn't bad, but it wasn't great, either. On the other hand (and I know neither if it were an "off night" for them or not), the Van's Cheese Pizza (Large), literally tasted exactly like school cafeteria style pizza. I don't want to complain about the size and the price for the large, plain cheese pizza, but honestly, that should be addressed as well. The size and price were just as problematic as the bland, grease soaked, over-cooked thing that only resembled a pizza by shape alone, or maybe because it came in a pizza box. Either way, it was very poor quality.

Noodles are large like lo mein noodles. Large comes  with 2 long sausages not even cut up ,look like they should be in hot dog buns. Would not recommend this dish.

pizza was too floppy and not cooked long enough. They only gave me one measly little piece of baklava :/
