Out of ALL the LA/Beverly dessert places I've treated myself to, Magnolia Bakery is the best!!!
The flavors were very robust, very obvious. Each bite was more delicious than the last.
The price was amazing as well. The banana pudding cookie was especially delicious. Unironically the best cookie I've had in my entire life!!

The carrot cake had a strange sour aftertaste. The red velvet icing smelled faintly of mayonnaise and had an odd globule fat texture like children's cheap birthday cake "frosting." BUT the chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream icing and the chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream icing: chef's kiss! I will order those again. Extra points for the easy-open plastic containers.

Chocolate Cake Slice w/ Vanilla Buttercream was amazing. The cake is rich and soft that it melts in your mouth.Honestly some of the best cake I've ever tasted. Definitely would order again. The cake slice size gives you the bang for your buck too.

The peanut butter cookie was seriously amazing! We wanted that specifically and it did not disappoint. I do wish it was a little bigger (like what it looks like in the picture posted online) but it was sooo tasty! Will go back here for sure!

Magnolia is still charging customers the same prices despite cutting back on portion sizes -- especially sliced cake. Also, the banana pudding consistently includes slices of overripe bananas, and limited to no actual cookies !
