The excellent pastrami melt was the only true version of a pastrami sandwich I've tasted since leaving S.F. for Grass Valley four years ago! The delicate pastrami was cut thin and served warm on a real sourdough roll! The optional chips, on the side, complemented the sandwich perfectly!

My turkey sandwich tasted so fresh today! The tomatoes tasted like they were straight out of the garden! Port of subs seems to never disappoint!

Pastrami meat and roll are still excellent, but the amount of stringy fat that surrounds the meat almost makes the sandwich inedible. (This could easily be avoided by trimming the meat before adding it to the sandwich. (There are new competitors now who do that, serving the same quality of meat.)

I love sandwiches and was excited about trying this place. One of the worst veggie sandwiches I have ever had. Hardly any lettuce, two tiny tomato slices on a 12 inch sub and one slice of olive . Hardly any mayo. I spent almost 30 bucksfor this lousy sandwich by ordering door dash. What a rip. Never again.
