I am a big foodie and coming from a family who loves cooking Indian food ; have become a thorough perfctionist about Indian food . Honestly , it's very difficult to find good Indian food in Manhattan !
Aroqa is a huge blessing . Their Old Delhi Lamb Seekh Kebab 2 pc is amazing ! Habanero Chicken Tikka 3 pcs is also delicious . Chicken pieces are very well marinated . Last yr they used to serve this with chutney and Nan but now only comes with 3 pieces and salad . Would love th restuarant to bring back that combo . Rasmalai is a must !! Such a beautiful fusion the chef has done on the traditional desert .
Sometimes I also order the " Chicken Bhuna " and Palak Paneer ... and even those two entree dishes are yummy .
Overall, kebabs and desert and soementres are amazing . Biriyani is not that great here .
Thank you Aroqa ! I order every other week

Absolutely pitiful portion for the tender chicken tikka. $20 for the equivalent of one chicken thigh

I already love Aroqa, but tonight the original Dasher who was assigned to make my delivery had to bow out. Aroqa kindly remade my order from scratch so it would be delicious, hot and fresh. Thank you for amazing attention to detail! Touch of Green-Palak Paneer (GF) (VEG) is one of my favorites - the spinach is vibrant and the paneer is out of this world. I can't choose betweenPlain Roti and Plain Naan so I order both - if you're really in a carbs mood, get their Bread Basket assortment - it's phenomenal. Mint & Cilantro Chutney and Plain Yogurt are required. Their portions are generous and their menu is full of fantastic flavors. 5++ stars!

Chicken biryani is a mess. Literally felt like eating chicken curry with jeera rice. Definite not a place if you want to try authentic biryani.
Ghost chicken is too little (4 pieces). Went all the way from NJ to NY city but disappointed with the food.

Food was good but the portions are so small. And thé fact that a side of chutney is $3 when most other restaurants give that for free is insane. They won’t stay in business very long with these prices and portion sizes.
