Mama Cho's is my go to Korean restaurant in the east bay - their portions are great and their food is equally great. I highly recommend their bbq plates for your full mean and their fried wings are an amazingly satisfying snack / appetizer.

I ordered the KBBQ Plate with the pork belly and spicy pork. The meat was perfectly cooked and the flavors were definitely there but it wouldn't describe it as spicy. My wife got the KBBQ Burrito and she said it was different but very good. We both gave our food a 10/10 and are already thinking about ordering there again tomorrow lol

The friend chicken and burrito were both amazing. The portions were good and the prices were fair. I highly recommend as one of the best Korean Fried Chickens in the East Bay area.

While I like the idea of Korean/Mexican fusion, they could've done a bit better on the veggie burrito that I ordered. The rice is good not nearly as garlicky as Korean rice normally is. I paid for extra rice and that's pretty much all that's in the burrito I think I came across maybe 12 pinto beans. If it were rolled correctly where the sour cream goes across the entire burrito not just on one corner of it, it would've been better. Did not hate it, did not love it.

The food is always delicious, flavor profile of the kalbi is balanced. Sometimes heavy on rice portions.
