• 3/19/24I LOVE Maepole!! A must is the Mac n cheese!! I like to get the plate with protein. I like to mix it up and get broccoli or green beans. The chicken has been my favorite protein selection and you can't go wrong with the quinoa or leafy greens. I like to try a different sauce each time.

• 3/31/22I was introduced to Maepole several years ago and I am totally addicted !! Their unique menu items and the marriage of flavors is superb!! Staff is very friendly and very helpful.

• 5/4/26I REALLY want to like Maepole. The food looks pretty. The concept is great. I keep trying to like it. I have eaten there like, 4(ish) times over the last few years, and every. single. time. I have ended up disappointed. (I usually get the veggie plate bc I love southern veggies and I'm sure I have tried most available veggies/sides, at this point.) I think the problem is this restaurant markets itself as both Southern and Healthy, and realistically if you're from the south, you KNOW that bacon grease makes everything a little bit better; that you cook your collards with ham hock, not EVOO and balsamic or whatever bougie thing they use. It just doesn't taste southern to me at all, and the internet can disagree because they like the concept and the pictures or whatever, but I personally believe that authentic southern food has pig fat in it and tastes WAY better than Maepole. I will say that the Mac and Cheese is an exception--it is good. The collards (and other veggies) taste like they were made by someone from northern California. Just saying.

• 8/9/25This place is sooo good. This is how healthy food should taste FR. The Mac and cheese and braised beef is sooooo yummy but so was everything else.
