the 2pc whole catfish plate is amazing. cant nobody around cook whole catfish like Captain Hooks COOK can.. And they load the plates down with plenty of food..and its freshly cooked and served extra hot....im very happy with everything.

After years of eating from this establishment, this was the first time I've ever been disappointed. I don't know if the ownership changed but the food was sad and disappointing.
Well most of it.
First I would like to say that the gizzards and corn nuggets were the only edible item I received. Those items were ok but not as I remembered.
The two 2 cheese burgers & fries meal that I ordered for my daughters, came burnt. I mean charcoal burnt to a crisp. I almost wish I did take a photo of the food. The fries were old and they dropped them back in the oil to reheat them. How I know bc I've worked in the food industry for over 20 years, I know a re-dropped fry when I taste one. The Fried Green Tomatoes were soggy. They used to come thin and crisp, perfectly seasoned. But the ones I got were thicker cut, soggy, and unseasoned.
They only plus about this review is that when I called the restaurant they offered to replace the only items that were not edible. Which was good.

A generous portion of Fried greentomatoes. Food was prepared fresh. Still hot after delivery. Fries are not over cooked. Price beat the captain hook. Also price was fair.Except for the soda. 4.29 for a 32oz Mountain Dew. But the food wasdelicious.

This.....this place does it right! The fried Okra is delicious, you cannot get it this good anywhere else in Dothan! The fried shimp is seasoned PERFECT and delicious! WINGS ARE FIRE!!!!!!!!! Lemonade is also really really good.....I'm a little disappointed i didn't get the 30oz
