• 4/7/25I ordered Nachos with carnitas and it was so good. I took a chance and made a special request for a side of onions and they honored it, which made the whole thing even better. it's such a generous portion of meat with the chips and the carnitas were excellent. Loved it!

• 8/24/26I ordered that a vegetarian, bean burrito, I went for it because there was no rice. And I didn't want to be loaded down with all of that...
I get the burrito and it's huge and I begin to open it up to see what's in it and it's full of tomato? They were about 20 beans in the whole thing. ? Now come on beans aren't that expensive, I don't know why this place went cheap, but they did. Very disappointed, I'll go to La Fogata next time. At least they know how to make a real bean burrito.

• 10/26/25I first found this gem in the'80s.The best Flautas ever! I always get 1 chicken and 1 beef. Amazing salsa bar. I see they have gotten a little shorter, but it took over 4 decades for it to happen! They still have the Elmer Dills rave review framed on the wall. So glad they expanded a long time ago. Fantastic food!

• 6/7/26You can't go wrong with Las Fuentes, Senor Sol, or Melody's. This family knows their stuff! The enchiladas and chicken flautas are my go to, and honestly you will crave them! My husband prefers the carnitas burrito smothered in sauce (gringo style) or steak quesadilla. Consistently delicious! Only complaint, the chips are flavorless and thick. I don't order them because we end up not eating them. Oh well, save some money. We take out of town guests here, and order in when we want to treat ourselves. For a lighter option go to Melody's or Senor Sol for the Salpicon tostada- how do they make a salad feel light yet decadent? Delish!!! We are devotees!
