Pollo Frito and the plantains were so good!!! I had Puerto Rican food in NY and i wasnt impressed. Thankfully, I decided to give it another try because it was one of the best meals I had in a longtime! The rice and beans were delicious. They shoud sell it by the container!

The Lechon Plate plate was flavorful, Alcapurria was a good size, and the Pastelon Pastelillo was so good, love that savory meat and sweet plantain combo, the yucca fries tasted fresh too, just don't forget to order some sauce on the side to dip. I did mayo-ketchup, so good. Definitely ordering again.

I ordered the pernil plate which was tender and so flavorful with white rice and beans. I also ordered the beef pastelillos/empanadas, alcapuria, y rellono de papa, so delicious and flavorful as well. My son and I are loyal customers for years. Ana and her crew put a lot of hard work and love into all of the dishes they make. It's hard to find Puerto Rican and Dominican cuisine out here in SD, I'm thankful for Jibaritos de la Isla it brings me back to mi Isla Del Encanto every time I take a bite. Wepa! Gracias!

Not only is the food always really delicious and most importantly CONSISTENT.. but I always love the packaging, too. I ordered three different types of empanadas and they made sure to label them with color coordinated toothpicks. I really appreciate you guys!! Thank you for the attention to detail 🙏🏽

Every time I get my food I do the happy dance as I am enjoying every bite! I am a Puerto Rican from the BX where there was an abundance of cuchifritos that sold all the Boricua dishes. I am so happy to have found a place where I can get some of my favorite dishes, there aren't really places that cater to Puerto Rican and Dominican foods. I have been a loyal customer and fan for over 6 years! Gracias to every hard working member of Jibaritos de la Isla that prepares my foods for delivery, I appreciate you all very much.
