I felt bad for ordering late, about a half a hour before close. Everything was so good! The Colorado was my favorite, dipped in Eel Sauce YUM! They also were able to add cream cheese to the Hit the Spot which was super tasty. There was what I think was dakion radish in there and gave it an almost slightly lemon taste, super fresh. I definitely recommend trying their restaurant.

Both the mackerel nigiri and Ebisu were incredibly fresh tasting. The portion is just perfect. I love that the Ebisu roll is a touch spicy but not at all overbearing if you're sensitive to spice. I will definitely be ordering from Sushi Spot again or I will be dining in. Be mindful of take out waits and order accordingly if you are on a time crunch. It is with the wait though!

First time trying this sushi spot. volcano roll was amazing, very few places can actually get these right with balancing the heat , the dredge, and the tuna. Most places get 1 or 2 things right, but the volcano rolls here, perfect. tuna was still moist, the dredge was perfectly crispy, and the heat was on point. The garden of the gods roll was ok, the heat from the fried volcano roll kind of made the nigiri a warmish temp, which was fixed by 15 mins in the fridge. Salmon roe was on point, with the roe not having much of a scent, and perfectly oily which shows how much attention is paid to the freshness of the products uses at this restaurant. Will definitely be ordering again soon.

this is my usual order from this restaurant, and as always they are on point with some of the best sushi in Springs. If my budget allowed,i would order every other day from here. my favorite sushi in this order is the Volcano. it is always perfectly rolled and fried. the Citrus Surprise offers a nice cooling baance to their cooked rolls. the Red Rocks is always a winner too and you can't go wrong with ordering it. finally very few places will do the Upside Down Shrimp correctly, but this is oneof maybe 2 or 3 sushi places in the United States that i can honestly say gets it right.
Finally, a person should not solely judge a restaurant off its most complicated orders, but how well they can do their most simple dishes. the Salmon nigiri is simple, yet amazing and shows the true talent of the chef behind the blade.

This is my fave sushi place! Their food is always delicious! First time trying the 8th Street roll it was delicious, was not disappointed. The Colorado, Heart Attack, and California Roll were delicious per usual!
I would recommend Sushi Spot to anyone who loves sushi!
