The cold soups here are flavorful and plentiful. It's always more than one meal's worth of food. The dumplings are crunchy and addictive - but the kimchi? The kimchi is spectacular. Rich, dank, garlicky and spicy. And you get a whole small deli container's worth with each entree. What a spectacular restaurant.

such a hole in the wall korean comfort food spot. the portions are massive and worth every penny. i love how each bowl of kalguksoo is so consistent in flavor and don't skip out on their mandu and house made kimchi!

Our go-to's are the pork and shrimp dumplings, spicy cold noodle when it's hot out and knife cut noodles when it's cold (pro tip: I order the spicy one and an extra order of chicken broth because my partner doesn't like spicy- can easily get two meals out of one noodle soup + broth order). Check out how big and rich the chicken broth is! I also love their kimchi- so fresh!

We were super excited that MDK got on DoorDash, but we were concerned about whether the delicious taste of MDK would be maintained with the food being delivered. They didn't disappoint with their Knife Cut Noodle in Chicken Broth (Kalguksu) and Spicy Chewy Noodle (Jjolmyun) they were tasty as always! However, the Pan Fried Dumplings could've been packaged better. They were stale and not crispy from being in a tightly sealed plastic container without any airholes. Also, their Red Kimchi (Large) is chef's kiss!! My family and I sometimes went to MDK just for their kimchi. SO GOOOD that we ordered a large extra. Overall, I would order them again when I'm craving their kalgooksoo!!

A bit on the pricey side but absolutely delicious. Good quality as well as flavor. If you a fan of bibimbap, do not hesitate. We got the vegetarian and bulgogi ones and it was enough meat for the both us. Will def include them on our bibi rotation as we order them every other week. Comes with plenty rice, soup and loads of kimchi.
