Sake Salmon Roll is ridiculously small! It was five pieces of extremely thin sushi. Seaweed was falling off. The Salmon Nigiri was better in terms of flavor but also extremely small. Each one was about the size of a tube of chapstick. The Chicken Katsu was for my partner and she couldn't finish it. The chicken had a weird consistency and the entire bowl was covered in egg yolk, it dripped all the way down below the rice. I had a side of ponzu that I had to pay for that was super bland and it spilled in the bag on the way to me. This place is not worth the price!

The Salmon Combo is delicious. Everything was packed carefully, and I was pleasantly surprised at the generosity of the servings.
The fish was fresh and high quality.
I would absolutely order this again.

First order with them. Very tiny and thin portion of assorted raw fishes (6 pcs sashimi and 2 pcs eggs) filled with too much rice in the bowl compared to other Japanese restaurant in my neighborhood. Chirashi Don usually have thicker sashimi, but looks like they topped sashimi which is designed for nigiri sushi. Will not order this menu again. But they have good taste of rice, so you may try rolls.

I order two First Love rolls from Sushi Damu every time, and my order through DoorDash is usually around $45. I’m a regular customer, but over the last few days the rolls have been extremely small compared with what I normally receive.
I’m not sure if there are different chefs preparing the orders, but the difference in portion size is significant. The rolls have gotten so small that it feels like I’m paying for two rolls but receiving about the amount of food I used to get from one.
At roughly $45 for two rolls, this is unacceptable. I order from Sushi Damu regularly, and there needs to be consistency in the portion sizes. If this doesn’t change, I will take my business somewhere else.
