So, for some reason a few of my go-to Regency items have been removed from the Doordash menu (I subscribe to Doordash). Hence, this review is for Regency Palace, but with my items ordered from Fantuan (because it still has my faves listed). I ordered dim sum items: crepe with braised beef, sticky rice in lotus wrap, shu mai, shrimp dumpling. After ordering I saw all the recent negative reviews (incl on Google Maps), and was slightly terrified. I've ordered from the Regency Palace many times before, but this is the first time since I think it changed owners. Anyway, it was all perfect, super fresh, great portions, and absolutely delicious! Exactly as it's always been. My fears were unfounded. Until Doordash gets the braised beef crepe and gai lan back on its menu, I'm going to have to keep ordering from Fantuan, though.

portions were good. 1pc of siumai is already filling. seasoning was well-balanced. the crispy chicken could have been better. they should have separated the crackers. crackers were soggy because of the steam from the packaging. but over all, everything is good. craving satisfied.

the rice D92 Fried Rice Noodle with Bean Sprout was not rice noodle, the D2 Shrimp & Pork Dumpling was raw in the middle, the rest felt like leftovers, not high quality esp for the price paid. too bad.

I don't know if it's the new ownership but quality and the overall service has gone down immensely. This is the second time now they have screwed up our order. They are not paying attention to detail and are just mailing it in. The old owners were way better than this.

Usually I go in person, but this time I ordered at home. Which ive done many times before. The D8 Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaf rice is very dry that it crumbled when I open the lotus leaf, the D10 Deep-Fried Shrimp Dumpling the shrimp was somehow very overcooked that the meat was pretty tough and chewy, the D36 Stuffed Bean Curd seems okay aside from when I opened it the sauce was dumped out, resuting in the paper underneath to be competely saturated and when I went to take it out as it was sticky to the food it just deteriorated and shredded all over the food, the D9 Steamed Beef Tripe is quite dry no real juice to keep it tasty. D62 Rice Crepe with Shrimp seems good so far though. Usually i have a good experience. This time not really. Specially if im soending$45. Disappointing since I ordered when the resturajt just opened for the day.
