Bird's Nest is my favourite Japanese in Brisbane (of the non-ramen variety). Food is consistently fresh, well prepared and delicious. Special mention to the chicken wing yakitori, cabbage salad & Tori Chazuke- all elite.

The rice was soggy this time. It's usually delicious and it's worth the price but this rice was barely edible. Maybe they put little bit too much water when they cooked it. It doesn't always happen though. Chippies were pretty good. I'm very happy with the spices they use with chippies. It would be nice to visit there in person. Atmosphere is very nice.

Mushroom Fried Rice was good, mushroom skewers were just 1 mushroom half on a stick, i don't know if 1 mushroom can be classed as a skewer...

I was ok to have a small portion but the Yakisoba Stir Fried Noodles and Miso Soup were really salty.
