All of the meat options were SO SALTY. Got a chicken taco and sweet pork taco, and was floored at how much salt flavor was in the meat. The other thing that was shocking to me was how little filling there was in each taco, when you're paying $15 for two tacos. They were mostly shells, and maybe 3 tbs of filling total. Super disappointing overall. I feel like every time I get cafe Rio lately, especially at the Idaho falls location, the food is just disappointing and not what I remember from past cafe Rio. I have found that the Costa Vida in Idaho Falls is much more consistent with flavor and tasting good, and frankly they have more food and sizing options, as well as à la carte items. This order was sort of my sign that I'm fully parting ways with cafe Rio and just doing costa Vida from now on.

the large chips and salsa I paid $5+ was a bag of chips with a 4 oz portion cup of Pico that was filled half way. so 2 oz, the chips and queso I also paid $5+ for looked like burnt dog food. It was grainy and looked a few days old and cold.
I got the enchiladas and those were good.
first and last I will order from here. All together it was about $45.00 for a "large" chips and salsa, a regular order of queso(not edible) and chips and 2 enchiladas plate plus tip

Every time we order online, it's terrible. Lettuc is drenched in water. Probably got 1/3 of meet than what there should be. Paid $40

Double Enchiladas Almost 5stars, here's why: The palate is on point! from their savory tender meats, lime rice, red chili, house dressing.. A+ Flavors! A+ in Freshness! B in Appearance which isnt bad for delivery -but couldve been improved by putting the sr crm in the cute compartment instead of the house dressing purchased separately. Sr crm was runny on dish, no good for reheating. "Extra guac" as an option implies it comes with some, it did Not. They went very Easy on the Cheese, there was no option for extra. I enjoyed the fresh greens on the side, but nothing fancy, just lettuce. Ok, here's where they lose the star, what's up with always seems like Oops maybe they didn't calculate right, running a batch behind on beans n rice so putting them out undercooked n sm portions!?! Or maybe overcooked bottom of barrel?! Imo beans can't simmer too long. Perfect rice can be tricky, they're close, but Ouch! And it may be personal preference but seems like they get impatient w the tortillas as well! I think theyre too thick, like masa, n need cooked higher heat and/or longer. Regardless, overall yummy. Doordash was great, 5stars for driver.

The flavor was good. I'm never disappointed with Rio for that. But I think a Salad should have more lettuce. What little lettuce there was ended up very soggy at the end. I'll just stick to my burrito bowl next time!
