This bakery is hands down the best ! Their 7" Carrot Cake is moist, the cream cheese icing isnt too sweet and it balances out perfectly. Their Apple Pie - Large is absolutely delicious, its naturally sweet, no extra sugary taste to it, the crust is also very delicate. Their Creme Brulee is one of the best I've had. 10/10 bakery.

The mixed cookies are my already portioned snack and they are DELICIOUS! The fresh bread was a perfect pairing for that viral hamburger vegetable soup that I finally made (it came out great). Absolutely bangin'. You can eat Calandras bread with tea hot cocoa, water, coffee, soups, pastas, fish,poultry, by itself etc etc...whatever.... it will always be delicious and fresh!

Order the small mixed pastries based on the variety of items showed in the menu photo but when I ordered I got 9 pieces of dry cake. Had I known that, I would have just ordered a whole cake. The one creme brulee that was included was to die for. Calandra's has always been a great bakery but this was disappointing and felt like a waste of $40.

Newark's most precious gem. Thank you Calandra's Bakery for always going above and beyond, and treating our special ocassions as if they were one of your own. The 7" Fudge Layer Cake is heavenly! Each mouthful was velvety, luscious, decadent, and absolutely irresistable.

My order was perfect. ..... I called ahead to make sure the items I wanted were available and they were so I placed the order and it was brought to my door great service all around Calandra's bakery's Lobster tails with French cream and the cream Brulé are so fresh and delicious
