Wish I had discovered this earlier. Had the Samari and the tie-dye rolls. Thought I would have to save a few pieces, however; couldn't and ate both in one sitting. The tie-dye was truly spicy, and the Samari with extra crunch and mayo was sublime. Absolutely fantastic!!!! Best I have ever enjoyed. Thanks for a memorable dinner.

I have had Glass Box since they opened here, it is one of my favorite sushi spots in San Diego! The Rosarito Roll was SO delicious - the sweet peppers add another level of flavor and texture that is amazing! Always fresh ingredients! And the Shrimp Fried Rice is more than enough for 2 maybe even 3 people! I will continue to order from here! Thank you Glass Box! ❤️

My Cucumber Salad was straight up just diced cucumbers with no toppings or sauce. The Shrimp Tempura Roll was actually inedible it tasted old/moldy. I took one bite and spit it out. The Sweet & Sour Style was like Walmart version of Panda Express but twice the price. This place is severely overpriced and the food is awful.

3.1/5. Honestly, the price does not match the overall flavor and taste. Cavier/uni is placed on the Bluefin Toro Uni Roll, but could hardly taste it. Not one item stood out. The seafood tasted fresh, but the rice was hard. I took off the seafood from the rice, because it was dry and seemed overcooked. The eel was lowkey burnt. The salmon and scallops were ok, nothing to write home about. No wow factor, to justify how much I spent. Portions are good, for one roll and the nigiri. But not worth the cost. Kura offers the same portions for $4. And there Togo boxes are so much better. Probably, won't order again. I can go to Hmart for less money and it tastes the same.

As good a meal as I've had. The Belly of Pig was excellent, as were the bacon shishitos that come with it. The curry rice was a little bit underseasoned, but still good.
Premium Miso was fantastic. Pretty standard in some ways, but well made and the extra ingredients were nice.
The 5 Spice Karagge was also very good. I was expecting bigger chunks rather than popcorn chicken style fowl, but delicious.
