first time doordash from Hawthorne. we got a pepperoni extra cheese pizza and garlic parm wings. the pizza: beautiful brown poofy crust, crunchy on the outside and nice and chewy texture as good as any crust ever. the dough makes the pizza and this was 15 out of 10. the sauce, cheese and pepperoni are zero complaints in that department. the wings: very large, arrived pretty warm and extremely crispy with a fantastic flavor. absolutely loved everything about the restaurant. totally more stars than 5.

Oh Myyy! The Penne Ala Vodka is a perfect ala dente {I can't cook dente) The Marina sauce not too Acidic w/ great blend of Cheese & officially my FAV! I can't wait to try Chicken Parmesan now! I've not got into the Cannoli Plate yet~ only sneaking lil dropped Filling on my plate. The Creamy Filling is wonderful! Not overly sweet & more of a Buttery (perhaps?) ..Sorry pics of salad looked like it was picked on but that's because I couldn't wait & ate! The Cheese & Captain Wafer crumbs I added from Home. I seriously can't wait to order from here again so it'll probably be by end of week . Next time everyone wants Pizza? I'll be telling them I know of an Awesome place so I can order the pasta dishes & wings!! I can say not only is this my Favorite Italian now but the BEST Door Dash Order & I've ordered helluvalot!

i love hawthorns, i always get the penne ala vodka. 100/10 would recommend to anyone, and the garlic knots are so buss down. i ate so much i almost threw up, it can be addictive i swear. but literally would recommend any day, maybe not everyday since it is a lil pricey but it is worth the cost

I have been eating at/ordering from Hawthornes for 3 years and I'm leaving a review because of how wildly inconsistent the food can be. After nearly 3 years, I ordered the bolognese for the first time a few weeks ago and it was so good I couldn't believe it. Having cravings, I ordered again a few weeks later and the bolognese was extremely average. The garlic knot was dry, no butter no garlic. I experienced this before with the Cappelini Supreme after having it in the restaurant and falling in love but then ordering it for delivery and it was sub-par, in all ways. Lack of ingredients, sauce, portion size, everything. I'm a local in Mooresville and Hawthornes has been one of my go-to's but the inconsistencies are real.

the best pizza in mooresville nc hands down! can't wait for more! and the food is so well prepared...you can just tell that everything is fresh and made on the spot...and by the way it's going to plenty as well...if you're a cold pizza in the morning kind of person...it makes for a breakfast as well...hawthorne's is my favorite spot in mooresville for sure...the meatballs whether as an app or the sub (bread is outstanding) can't be beat...thank you hawthorne's for always delivering the best quality and taste around!
