The rice and peas is very flavorful , the best in queens . The bbq jerk chicken and curry goat are both spectacular and the food is always fresh.

I order from Ideal Jamaican Flavors regularly, on October 22th 2025 I ordered the Escovitch Whiting Meal for the first time.
Let me start off by saying, the Escovitch Whiting was fried perfectly!
The whiting is seasoned perfectly( not salty), was not overcooked at all, very much flaky and melt in your mouth!! And most importantly- IT IS NOT GREASY.
The Escovitch Whiting Meal comes with about 3 medium-sized strips of whiting, plus steamed vegetables, rice and peas plus a couple of fried plantains.
It is a good portion size for 9$, the fish tastes fantastic, the sides it comes with are always good and its an overall great lunch sized meal.
You will be full after!
Would definitely order again and recommend to friends, colleagues and family.

I got the Curry Goat, Sunday Chicken Soup and Mac &Cheese.
The Sunday Chicken Soup is very tasty, seasoned very well. It is more of a brothy soup then creamy, which is how I'd prefer a good Sunday soup. Has carrots, dumplings and potatoes in it.
The Curry Goat is very tender, and melts in your mouth! Perfectly seasoned, great spices. Rice and peas tasted very good with the Curry Goat gravy. I am also a fan of how they prepared their plantains, very soft, which is how I'd prefer my plantains.
Now the mac and Mac & Cheese, the Mac and cheese taste cheesy, creamy and delicious! However, for $6, I got a very small slice. The size they gave wasn't worth $6, but the taste of it is excellent!
Would definitely order, the Curry Goat and soup again!!!

the best Jamaican food in Queens you know now!! I eat here every single day the Calalloo & Saltfish cook so well.. the rice and peas has so much flavor.. the oxtail just cyan get enough🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Highly disappointed with what I got in my large Ackee & Saltfish . I got 2 small pieces of yam and 2 banana. For $20 I expected more. I have come to the understanding that they send far less food when it is delivery compared to in person. Where are my dumplings?
