Gumbo fries are top-tier. Delivered pipping hot and cooked just right. I didn't like how the gumbo was packaged, though. It wasn't in an airtight container and leaked a bit, but that didn't affect the quantity at all. Definitely worth the price. They gave me enough to have leftovers. Will be ordering from here again in the near future.

This place is a hidden gem in San Diego & I'm mad I didn't find it sooner! The fried fish was soooooo good! Great flavor and portions. Now baby the Gumbo, I usually will only eat from 1 of 2 places my mommas kitchen or NOLA, THIS GUMBO WAS SO DANG GOOD! And the best part, I had it delivered & everything was still fresh. When I tell you I might double back tonight and order again!

okay so the food wasn't bad. But not worth the final price tag of over $200. The portions weren't as plentiful as expected. the website or app doesn't specify the amount you get with selected items. So for the Combo Basket chose catfish & shrimp. Received 2 fish thin fillets for catfish & 5 Jumbo fried shrimp. The fries were good. The greens & potato salad were also good. The Gumbo was bland & watery. Chicken Wings 7 did Cajun seasoning and it was good not salty. Red Beans & Rice were okay but not much for $19 as you'd expect. The Creole Jambalaya was okay seasoned lightly & was a bit bland. And mac-n-cheese was good & creamy. The Banana Pudding wasn't very good. Tasted like it was made with a banana flavored pudding, versus vanilla with banana & villa wafers. The Peach Cobbler hadn't tasted yet but it was a small piece for $12 very disappointing. This was our first time. I think we should have gotten the seafood boil instead for the price paid.

 Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect and was a bit nervous to order here because trying new food places can be uncertain. However, I ordered this on my birthday, and I have to say, it was a perfect 10 out of 10. The Cajun corn on the cob was delicious, and the fried fish was crispy, hot, and seasoned just right without any fishy taste. I wish there had been a few lemons included, but the shrimp was also well-seasoned and cooked flawlessly. The shrimp was a good size, and the grams were satisfactory. The coleslaw was amazing. If you're after a well-portioned meal, I recommend the fried fish combo, which comes with two proteins and a side, with options to add more sides—what I did—and it was very filling. I only managed to eat half.

The Gumbo was amazing per usual, so was the fried fish. But whoever is making those sides needs a little help. The macaroni tastes like straight noodles & cheese. Collard Greens has way too much vinegar. I'll stick to the gumbo for sure. Portions are great & the food does always come fresh.
