Wow! Even though I was attracted to Petals of Peony by the 5 star rating and the great reviews, I surprised at how delicious everything I ordered tasted - yum!! The Sichuan fried 四川桂花饭/ Sichuan Style Fried Rice had very subtle aromatics and very tasty pork, green 干煸四季豆/Green Beans were perfectly prepared and seasoned and the 香酥鸭/ Crispy Duck totally blew me away (and don't skip the duck sauce!). The portions were overly generous so I'm looking forward to leftovers tomorrow for lunch. I can't wait until I can visit their brick and mortar store in person.

Love the flavors here! It's hard to find good Asian food in Memphis and this place is terrific! The Eggplant in Garlic sauce is exceptional and the spicy dumplings are delicious too. All the entrees are great (except the duck, there's almost no meat in that dish).

The 山城辣子鸡丁/ Spicy Crispy Chicken is like Nashville hot chicken. A dry seasoning but a large portion and it comes with white rice. I wouldn't order it again. The spicy 红油水 spicy Dumpling(8 pc) are always great.

We have eaten in the restaurant several times and loved it, and the food is just as good through Doordash. The portions are large and, despite being delivered in the middle of a winter storm,everything was hot and fresh. The dumplings (we chose pork) are listed as being spicy, but the spice is very subtle. The fried rice is one of our favorites. It doesn't have soy sauce on it, making it a unique and almost buttery rice. I highly recommend it! I will definitely order from Petals of Peony through Doordash again!

Everything is always so fresh and delicious with the perfect amount of Sichuan heat. Anytime I'm craving Chinese, I get petals of a peony. their portion sizes are generous, the鱼香肉丝/ Shredded Pork w. Garlic Sauce is so delicious, and their rice is always perfectly fluffy and steamed and never tough. I always get their 红油水饺/Spicy Dumpling(8 pc) and have plenty of leftovers afterwards for more happiness later, lol.
