Specifically asked for no tartar sauce and it was on both slices of bun. This tells me the store is making food ahead of time or are fairly incompetent when it comes to reading orders.
Breading was very salty and the Mac and cheese was chalky and didn't have many noodles.
This may be the worst order I've received from this restaurant.

Poor quality and work. 5Pc Handcrafted Tenders Combo were skinnier than me; looks like they just threw a couple tendons in the frier. Ghost Pepper Sandwich was alright.. rubbery cheese, slightly grainy chicken.

Wanna set the record straight on one thing first after a glance at the reviews: this store's been pretty good to me. All the items were in this order except a single free condiment. This has been consistent, too.
With that, I'd like to say I've ordered here before. Mostly chicken sandwiches. Decided with the deal on the Full-Court Feast (Small Group 4-5), I'd use it as an opportunity to get a sampler of boneless wings and pack some away for later meals.
Everything's great. The Red Beans & Rice I ordered on the side out of curiosity were too - almost wish I'd done it instead of mac and cheese but that was also quite creamy.
The signature hot hit all the right spots for a spicy thing to hit on the tastebuds. The bbq was tangy. The garlic parmesan were top notch.
Will definitely get more of all of these.

This was my first time at Popeye's. I expected a lot more. Yes, the chicken is a tad better than KFC in terms of nuggets and sandwiches, but not by much. The batter is very flaky and very crisp. The sides were so/so. Some flavor, but not much when it comes to mashed potatoes and red beans, and rice. The apple pies were good. Tasted like McDonald's apple pies did years ago. Will I go back to Popeye's for a return trip? For the price, most likely not.
