These commercials keep getting me!! Got the 8 pieces meal... not into white meat but this place does it right!

This was our first time ever having Popeye Chicken. We both liked it and enjoyed it. it was nice to have Chicken with meat on it. The flavor was excellent. It was not salty. The seaoning was light so you could enjoy the flavor of the chicken.The coleslaw was flavorful and creamy. The beans and rice was very good. Though I did feel there should have been more rice. There was only about a teaspoon of it. A heaping Tablespoon would have been better. Since our meal was a to go order I feel they should have included utensils to eat with and butter for the biscuit. All in all, the meal was very good.

I love the chicken and the M&C. I will keep ordering for this reason. I just wish the employee's would get the order right at the Southpark Mall (Strongsville) location. They ALWAYS forget something. Sometimes just dipping sauce, sometimes a drink, sometimes entire meals. I don't say anything most of the time bc I'm afraid DoorDash would stop believing me if I kept asking for credit. I don't order a lot of food. I don't know why it's difficult for them to put everything in the bag.

The chicken and mashed potatoes were good. the biscut was tough. The shrimp was not butterflied and it was WAY too cooked. I think this order was a one off so I will order again if just for the chicken.

Chicken has burnt pieces , they gave me all one piece of chicken instead of the leg, thigh and breast. And the sweet tea is warm.
