These 1/4 Fried Chicken Sam'ch are dangerously GOOD! So crispy, the chicken meat is juicy (i picked dark meat) and very well seasoned.
The Dino ribs were huge, definitely can be 2 meals for me, they were saucy, tender, very very juicy.

I'm from Louisiana, and this is the most authentic soul food I've had in boston. I received a TON of catfish in the Fried Catfish Plate which is very hard to come by here. It was so much, I had to invite a friend to help me finish it. It arrived so hot and fresh too. I can't praise this place enough, this is what I've been looking for since I moved here!

WOW! I ordered the haddock plate with mac -n-cheese and collard greens. The packaging was very thoughtful! Everything had its own container, not jammed together. I really appreciated that. The portion size was moderately large. The flavor was incredibly fresh and the spices were just the right amount. Thank you and I will support you again!

What the city’s been missing!
I am a foodie plus i’m pregnant so i’m a tough critic but LET ME TELL YOU.
FOOD IS AMAZING!!! If you’re in the mood for authentic soul food. Cooked to perfection then look no more. Everything is seasoned to perfection, not too salty nor bland. Food is cooked with love and is healthy for you. Chocolate cake was moist, wet and delicious. Ribs(pork) were fall of the bone tender and seasoned perfectly, I didn’t need the bbq sauce. Mac and cheese was on point and mashed yams were creamy and delicious. Collard greens was bussin! Corn bread muffins on point! Fried chicken bomb.com and Baked beans paired well with the ribs and c.bread. You can beat the flavor, the quantity or quantity of this food and restaurant service . I fed myself, children and 2 their friends off two meals and a few sides with dessert plus had some leftovers. I’m a bostonian and mark my words when i tell you… No other soul food joint is coming close to PBBS! The owner loves what he does takes pride in his work and serving customers. Customer service is beyond top notch something many establishments lake. I’ve tried them all and PBBS will be #1 in a matter of time, mark my words. Keep doing your thing guys, stay consistent and you won’t loose! I look forward to all your future success.

The first few times I ordered, I really enjoyed the food, but the last few times I’ve been disappointed with the overall quality. This time, the wings were huge, could’ve been seasoned better, and definitely needed to be fried a little longer. The mac & cheese was not to my liking at all. I honestly wish I had ordered from somewhere else.
