The brisket this time was a little lacking in flavor & not as tender as it should be. The ribs were also very small compared to normal, but I think they did give an extra rib or two to make up for it.

I had been a huge fan of this restaurant but after wasting close to $50 on the absolute worst BBQ I've ever eaten I doubt I'll be back. You used to get nice lean brisket on a thick slice of bread but now you just get a slab of wicked fatty meat swimming in a lake of grease. I got a sweet potato which used to come with butter. This is a teeny, tiny potato and no butter or any other kind of topping.
The collard greens had none of the bits of ham and are crunchy. I've never had them like this ever. They should be soft snd smoky from the meat.
The macaroni and cheese doesn't seem fresh and I wonder if I got yesterday's leftovers because I ordered early.
The pie was smushed flat but tasted ok.

been my favorite for years.

We usually love this place but today I am reach to give it two stars. Sliced Beef Brisket was just ok. I ordered and paid for two small cups of bbq sauce but they were missing so the brisket was dry. We got six bones of Baby Back Ribs and they were in no way bbribs. They were like a spare rib and wehad to gnaw at the bone to get meat and the little bites of meat were so tough. I make baby back ribs at home so I know what I got was not that. Mashed potato tasted odd. The star of the meal was the Killer Corn Bread and cucumber salad. That is pretty much what we ate, corn and cucumber. Very disappointed because the bill was over $85, right into the garbage. Maybe it was an off night.

The food was phenomenal. Meat was cooked right, sides were out of this world. Only qualm would be our Mac and cheese was a little burnt, but other then that, still a 9.9/10!!
