I really wanted this to be good and once I tasted the cabbage I just knew that you guys were trying to do what you needed to do because you also saw and heard the reviews about the cabbage and the mac & cheese being bland. I wish that was my issue, but it wasn't. I ordered the stew chicken I think in total I might have gotten 4 little pieces which equals maybe to like one thigh, chopped up in little bitty pieces with Bones. I'm not excited about that. I really wanted to like you guys, but whoever is back there making them DoorDash plates we're talking about chicken here not oxtails really let's do better you guys. Flavor was spectacular I didn't hate it. I just wish there was more unless I ordered a lunch special and don't know it.

Well packaged, and I had a generous quantity of food! How ever, even thought the oxtails had immaculate flavor and gravy, they were fatty and the cabbage taste like an after thought. Absolutely no flavor at all. If it wasn't for all the oxtail gravy I had the cabbage would've gone to waste completely. Mac n cheese I gave a 6/10. I liked the pasta and the texture but again, if it wasn't for the gravy it would've also fallen flat. Lastly I'm shocked for the value of this platter it didn't at least come with two plantains. Overall I rate this experience 5/10. I'd come back for the oxtails alone. Sides were mid.

The oxtail was bleh. Not nasty but it was not seasoned that much and had more bone than meat. The rice was severely undercooked. I'll be honest the only reason why I gave it 2 stars is because how inexpensive it is .

I have no idea what these bad reviews are about, I have been eating here for years, and consistency every time! The oxtails are delicious meaty tender and seasoned, curry chicken is excellent, sometimes the gravy is lacking but you can order more on the side. I would order a thousand times over and over. Customer service 10/10 always fresh and hot and they give you a decent portion.

The best Caribbean food I've had since moving to Texas. The rice and peas, cabbage, and Vegetable Patty was so good. I have eaten inside the restaurant as well, and had the red snapper fish 😋 The staff was very welcoming.
