First timer here and can definitely say that Jackies Place found a new loyal customer! First of all the Fried Chicken Plate was HUGE!! The chicken was nice and crispy, Mac and cheese was favorful, and rice and gravy was DELICIOUS. Also got some Banana Pudding... will not stop thinking about it for the next couple days I can tell you that.

I've been a huge fan of Jackie's place since I read her story in the paper 6 years ago. I didn't truly know the meaning of "comfort food" until I ate my first BBQ chicken and had the Banana Pudding. Smoked Pulled Pork PlateSmoked Beef Brisket Plate can't be beat for size of portions to the prices. thank you, Jackie!

I'm s v impressed w th quality and quantity of this food. The Oxtail Gravy, Peach Cobbler, Sweet Potato Pie and Sliced White Bread (2 slices) are absolutely delicious! I love this establishment for ordering wonderfully prepared food!

The two meat plate is a great deal for such amazing food! The fried chicken wings are huge and so good! The southern catfish is AMAZING! The brisket is so smokey and tender. Everything's so fresh and arrived still crispy. All the sides were so good and tasted like elevated home cooking. It's going to be tough to not order all the time--so glad Jackie's is finally on DoorDash!

Cup -Seafood Gumbo Soup is flavorful, but where was the seafood (no sign of 1 shrimpor taste of crab); just sausage and not sure what the other meats were. Servingof rice was a negligible. For $35,I expected a larger portion, even if it was a cup. The corn muffin could be softer (use a fIner grain cornmeal). I thought I would give collard greens a try, now I know why I have never eaten it before.
